Lay bet selections

I am going to lay bet (bet to lose) these selections on betfair if and only if? they become the favorite just before the off! if they dont become favorite? then there will be no bet, its something new for me to try and i know it may seam a boring way to try and make a profit and you usa guys find it hard to lay bet (because of usa gambling laws) you may want to try and avoid betting to win these selections in the future if they prove fruitful for me??? lets see how they go?
