Musket Man doesn't seem to be getting any hoopla. He's a multiple graded stakes winner, has won on dirt, has won going around two turns and has won on five different tracks. I know he's from low profile connections and hasn't beaten any of the other major players so far. However, he does seem to know how to find the winner's circle. Just wondering out loud.

One more thing, other than Old Fashioned, anybody else of major consequence going in the Arkansas Derby next week? Is the Blue Grass going to be a complete throw out? If it is, what a shame that would be for a race TVG touts as "America's most important prep race". Sorry, just more wondering out loud.

The Blue Grass this year certainly lacks star power and sex appeal. Any chance it gets downgraded to a Grade II next year? Probably not since the Keeneland folks wield considerable clout.
