Storm Flag Flying Defeated

Well, they say the best time to get a horse is when they're coming off the layoff, and Storm Flag Flying was obviously ripe for the picking today, it was evident right from the early stages of the race. It was a very disappointing effort, in my opinion, as the champion filly suffered the first defeat of her brief career after just four prior races.

To be fair, though, Cyber Secret did run a nice race, and there was simply no catching her. Congratulations to her connections.

The winner was definately playable - no tredboarding, but I bet it because NO horse is worth those miserable odds, and also, the winner just equalled it's previous years top, so it was eligible to move ahead. These races are ripe with opportunity - that race was not a goal of SFF by any means - it was a prep for bigger races later on.
