A heavy rainstorm has pelted Dubai and threatens to return Sat. for the World Cup Day card. I didn’t even know that Dubai gets heavy rain. I’ll have to refresh my world climatology. In any case, expect a possibly wet course at the Nad Al Sheba course tomorrow, for the first time in the WC history and consider it in your handicapping.

Why do people put links to the DRF, you can't ever view them for free?

They are being nice. I could view the link and I certainly do not pay DRF anything.

Thanks Jim. I myself don't even have a paid subscription to the DRF and wouldn't post anything not free even if I did. Maybe people should bother to get the facts before jumping to conclusions.

Track will be fast. Showers have already moved out of the area as of 10am local Dubai time. The desert heat will burn off the moisture.
