We still can't bet a lot of tracks in the US (or none for me via Youbet), but we can bet an expanded foreign menu...nice.

The rules for the pools (no rhyme intended) is somewhat difficult to understand. For which tracks (or continents) are the pools comingled with the host track, and for which tracks are they set as "international pools?"


Is there an advantage to playing particular pools? Do the pool totals that Youbet shows reflect only the host tracks numbers or the total comingled?

"A maximum of 24 entries (horses) will appear on the Youbet.com track program. In the event a race has more than 24 entries, entries 25 and upward may be viewed by downloading the free past performances in the Handicapping Products area.

In U.K. racing, all Place wagers pay to the top three finishers.

For all races with 20 or fewer horses, the following betting pools will be co-mingled directly to the host track in the U.K.--Win, Place, Exacta.

All Trifecta, Superfecta, Double, Pick 3 and Pick 4 wagers will be co-mingled in separate "international pools" hosted in South Africa.
