glad you hit it.
i try to stay away from the exacta unless the play is what i call a double down. that is when its both a bet1 and bet2 play.
it's my way of saving money..like only buying a lottery tickect when the prize is >100 million :)

i had 2 , 4 way qualifiers today.. one was that laural horse and another long shot at sa.. truthy.. paid 38 bucks. I forgot about the second one. For the year the 4 way qualifiers on my system are at 1.25 roi on over 100 bets. Its weird the 3 ways dont do that well and the 5 and 6 way qualifiers all do well but the price drops. I will send you a few..

ACTUALLY ITS SO RARE THAT I HAVE ANything over a 4 times qualifier that the data sucks.. I had $140 return on $70 wagered for this month and last month was about $$200 on $170 dollars wagered with no rebates on the 4 way crosses. ... my 5 way crosses got killed as usual and my 6 way crosses were $30 return on $20 of wagers. Just like last month.. very odd data.. Something magical about the 4 way.. I think its a set of factors that complement each other in diff spot plays. The 5 way cross pics false favoritess..LOL.

No its just something i have tracked because i wondered what happened when i counted the number of times a horse showedup on diff spot plays. I usually bet a static amount unless its going to kill the pool.. I may try to smash one of the books with a place parlay of 10 races for 100 bucks.. not sure what thier max bet is though im sure its not less than a grand. I hit 20 in a row I think before..other wise im just going to make my plays at 100 to place at small tracks and 200 at large ones.
