Last weekend Smooth Air ran in the G2 Gulfstream Park Handicap and ran on the same track and same distance as Quality Road did earlier. Watch the two races and remember that a group of older stakes winning horses could not run as fast or as easy as Quality Road.
What does it mean? Well some say it means little but to me its a clear indication that this horse may be the monster everyone is looking for. Quality Road may control and win the Florida Derby with ease setting himself up nicely for a run at the roses.
