drf speed ratings for dmr

Hi, I notice in the pp records for entrants that ran at del mar that the speed ratings seem very inflated on the main track compared to hol or sa. my software asks for the best speed rating for the runner at the distance and surface but I try to avoid using dmr speed ratings. am I correct to avoid the dmr sr's? thanks

I haven't actually looked at the DRF speed ratings for Del Mar but I looked at the track variants and they are way out of whack. My guess is that they are using the 2007 meet as a basis for the ratings for 2008. The track was much faster in 2008.

You are probably right. Any way you carve them though they can't be trusted with respect to comparing them to the two other major So Cal tracks.
