Preface:

I have volunteered to create Private, Multi-Optional Polls regarding President Barack Obama, this is one of several that will attempt to look at both sides of some issues. Again, this Poll is Private, your choices will not be seen.

I am requesting various reasons for support/non-support reasons in this various theads. Each side, pro or con, will have their own thread. Do Not add your personal agreement or disagreements to this thread, nor argue any points, past or present, within this thread. There has been and will be plenty of time to discuss issues such as these in the future.

In This Thread I am asking ONLY for Possible Reasons one might Not Support President Barack Obama and the current majority in Congress You do not necessarily have to agree or disagree with these reasons. I will condense these suggestions for a poll to be conducted later.

Please, supply your Possible Non-Support Reasons, ONLY, below. Thank You. Please note that your suggestions are not private within this thread.

Getting some votes and an occasional response in the Poll threads, though a limited amount of suggesions for multiple-choice Poll Selections. So, to encourage some feedback, I'll try a few.

Non-Support

Okay, there was that difficult one from the original poll, but let's not shy away from issues. "Because He's Black". Will also appear in the Pro Obama suggestions.

I'll also throw out "Because He's Non-White" to find any differences between these two possiblities. Will also appear in the Pro Obama Suggestions.

"Because I didn't want an African American President." The counter-point will appear in the Pro Obama Suggestions.

"Because He's A Democrat"

"Because He's Not A Republican"

"Because He's Not A Conservative"

"Because He's Too Liberal" (Or, I may leave open the possiblity He's Not Liberal Enough"

"Because of the Democrat Majority In Congress"

"Because of the majority of his Implemented or Proposed Domestic Policies and attributed positions."

"Because of the majority of his Implemented or Proposed Foreign Policies and attributed positions."

"Because of the majority of his Implemented or Proposed Economic/Recession Policies and attributed positions."

"Because I don't trust enough of his Cabinet and Staff."

"Because his view of success means failure to me."

--------------

That covers quite a few things that have either been used in the past or that have been argued. Some more objective than others of course. Before I put together the final poll, how about some more suggestions on topics I might have missed. Please - suggestion topics only. I'll try to rephrase all of these in a hopefully neutral manner for the polls. Thank You.

Because his real plans do not include solving anything, only furthering socialist agendas and dem control over more and more of our lives.
He doesn't WANT to "succeed!"

Because many of these "stimili" are just social programs that are not going to stimulate the economy. In addition, the amount of increasing the deficit is staggering. Currently, we are paying 625 billion dollars in INTEREST. After all this further deficit spending, the amount of interest is going to break us. I guess I could say the Republicans were more fiscally responsible. Unfortunately, that said that is like arguing who is better in $2500 claimer NW2 lifetime.

Because if he is successful the republicans will be out of power for a generation.

Because his "success" is not compatible with a free, capitalist society.

Because he is uncategorically unqualified to be President of the United States of America.

And I'm not even going into the birth certificate issue.

I don't think that is going to happen.

Tis Ok, it's a suggestion, we'll see what people think in the poll. What ends up happening, well, that's the future.

[QUOTE=cj's dad]Because he is uncategorically unqualified to be President of the United States of America.QUOTE]

The reason we want him to succeed is because his predecessor had the mental acuity of a gnat, could not speak properly and has books devoted to his diminished clarity.

Unqualified ? For President ? As having a lifetime track record in the biz world of abject failure, he was only qualified to head an AIG; you know making huge money from the false presumptions of rapacious capitalism.
Translation: Screw everybody, lose a fortune and get a BONUS for your efforts !

I one thinks his predicessor is a gnat, that goes in the Suport Reasons Only thread, but I'll remember it, and try to put something, albeit more neutral, in.
