anyone else found out something recently about horse racing handicapping or betting they were suprised to learn...this thread could go in a lot of directions

everyday there's races I didn't who the winner was going to be but that's a continuing education....

For anyone who hasn't read Freakonomics, it's a good read. He really gives you some things to think about with regards to "normal" thinking.
