View Full Version : Hilarious "Easy Money" scene with Joe Pesci
A friend of mine sent me this link. I laughed out loud - when you watch it, think about how many times you've been tempted to do what Pesci does:

:lol:That was awesome. 5 foot, 4 inch ass-kicking machine.
Is the rest of the movie any good?
Yeah, the rest of the movie is good ... but this is the scene-topper!

Interesting to note at the beginning of the movie when Monte is looking through his portfolio of baby pictures (he is a child photographer), included in these pages are various NYC otb tickets and a few IOU's written on napkins funny start to a real funny movie.

The scene with Rodney at the tellers window is pretty funny also.
This scene was filmed at Pompano. But it does kinda look like Freehold.

The locations on IMDB say Dover Downs and "Pampano Beach, FL".
Another location is Clifton, NJ, which anyone that has driven Route 3 West from Club Med knows is the HoJos where Julio took Rodney's daughter on their wedding night.
Pesci seems to spend a lot of time at Monmouth Park. Sometimes we see him walking in by the Paddock heading towards the clubhouse and cackle lines from his flicks including Easy Money.
My favorite scene is when they're tormenting the saleslady in the "Odds and Ends" section of Monahan's. And of course we've been reciting the lines of the guy holding up the betting window for years.

Those are the old grandstands before the fire at Freehold, are you sure its Pompano?
