Oh yeah, its coming. The Capital Hill braintrust is already hard at work finding ways to justify it. this time the buzzword is confidence. as in we need to move ahead and be confident about spending more money.

it sounds like they really believe the mantra that they are all repeating "let's not waste a good crisis"

the highlights;
"At a special meeting of the Democratic Steering and Policy Committee on Tuesday morning, Democrats heard again from their trusted band of economists and came away reinforced that Congress would need to spend billions of additional taxpayer dollars in the coming months to help pull the economy out its severe recession"

“We are going to need more taxpayer money,” Mark Zandi, the chief economist at Moody’s Economy.com and a key economic adviser to congressional Democrats"

“Whether this is enough, I think, is still unknown,” she added. “The risks are all on the side of under-reaching, not overreaching.”

“The policy directions that we have been undertaking along with the Obama administration are the right course,” Miller’s co-chairwoman, Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), said. “Do they need to be adjusted potentially? Yes. We are not frozen in the sand.

“We should not be timid in these actions,” DeLauro continued. “When we have the confidence to move to address these problems in a forthright way and not be able to talk about spending dollars, then we will build the confidence in the American public that, in fact, we are doing the job that needs to get done to provide them with the economic security that they need to survive and take care of their families.”

So its full speed ahead. The risk is all on the side of doing less they say.
As they said in Toy Story "To infinity!, and beyond", which is where our deficit is heading.

as sure as failure follows prolonged reckless spending , you can be sure this will stop someday!

Probably after it's too late to make any difference.

... and when the dust all settles , and the carnage leaves little doubt to the cause . Will Bush still get the blame . Even liberal columnist are beginning to have their doubts about Obama , doesn't necessarily mean that Bush won't ultimately get tattooed .

bama is NOT driving this. he may not be fighting it either.

he is the "front man" , just as a carnival barker is a front man.

the summer/giether/bernake/paulson/rubin/lewis and the legion of GS nazis and their minions are the idea guys.

mccain romney any of them would be doing the same thing up to now.

they are all controlled once in.actually they don't even get close to getting in before they are surrounded by the "systemically to important to fail crowd".

that's just the way it is.
