Boosted by one of the biggest Pick Four pools in Los Alamitos history, more than $700,000 was wagered on the eight Pick Four exotics offered over the past racing week (Feb.26-March 1)at the Cypress track. The terrific early Pick Four figures included a season-high number of $125,566 pushed through the wagering windows on Sunday, February 25. Not only was this the highest amount of the season for the popular wager but it was also the fourth highest figure in the history of the Orange County track. Sunday's early Pick Four was only $4,074 shy of the all-time record of $129,640 set on Sunday, April 15, 2007.

For the week, $446,160 was wagered in the early Pick Fours while another $254,718 was bet in the late Pick Fours. A total of $700,878 was bet in the eight Pick Fours.
Three of the 14 all-time highest early Pick Four pools at Los Alamitos have been posted this season. That includes the 6th highest pool of all-time of In addition to this past Sunday's pool, $123,864 was bet on Sunday, February 22 (the 6th highest pool ever) and $119,329 was bet on Friday, February 27 (the 14th highest pool ever). The pool has gone over $100,000 seven times since February 13.
