Ruidoso Downs

Looks like if I get the approval from my CO this weekend (Im in the Army Reserve) I will be an interning at Ruidoso as a entry clerk/valet, also looks like one of my friends will be a marketing intern there as well. What can we expect out of this meet this summer?

I was up there last summer for the All American Derby trails to see Heartswideopen and had a great day. Ruidoso is a cool town, especially when racing is going on, because the whole town is really into it. I have heard it compared in some aspects to Saratoga, not on the look of the town but on the feel in that you have racing fever all over town when the horses are running.

I think it is a great place, in my opinion...
