Fleckenstein counters, “part of what made the Great Depression so bad is that the government scared business by changing all the rules all the time. Everyone thinks FDR saved the day but he made it worse.”

There is no better writer/commentator on the market than Fleck. And as usual, he's spot on.

As for Obama, this administration is a complete nightmare----and I consider myself an independent. I had criticized Bush in the past but Obama has NO clue whatsoever. No way will be get re-elected. Maybe in 2012 the Republican candidate will just need to utter "change" ten thousand times and never talk issues. That seems to work to get elected.
