I have been watching the picks of a selector service. This guy picks 2 horses per day and has hit 11 consecutive winners. Average price is not too high, one did pay $10.60 though. Still very impressive regardless of price. Just curious as to how many winners in a row have you ever picked? Wonder what the record is? I think I picked two winners in a row once ! Forgot to play the double though !

In the current NYRA "showdown" contest 7 guys picked 7 in a row.

They have all been eliminated.

My best is 9...Churchill Downs November ?? (I think it was like 10 or 13) 2001? In the first my horse came 3rd then I ran out the card, none payed more than 8-1 but still an amazing day I don't think I'll ever come close to again. Have had a couple 4 and 5's since.

How about a trainer that had 13 winners in a row.

Frank Passero at calder about 4 ot 5 years ago. Now he is about an 11% trainer. That is a lot harder than picking 11 in a row.

Still 11 in a row is great.

Back in th late 70`s I hit 34 out of 35 Daily Doubles and 10 straight Triples (New York tracks) and alot of good prices. That was the days when you can bet one with one in a daily and win., it was also when you can bet a closer and win without being close up,boy did things change, and by the way Tom stop bgagging.

8 winners in a row (2nd day at Santa Rosa, all early speed. First 2 days early speed won 15 0f 16). Show i hit 47 in a row.
Note- Last year first day at Stockton, all races paid at least $18.00. All were predictable.

I hit 6 winners in a row using a numerology system, but when I started betting the picks they all finished up the track.
