WHY? WHY? WHY?

Lone Star, already during the first week of racing, has 2 races with no reported internal fractions! This happens every year there. Most tracks, this never happens. Of all the large and medium sized tracks, LS has more malfunctions than the rest of them put together.

Anyone have a clue why this only plagues this track?

I worked at a harness track one time when the obligation to start the teletimer rested with charter in the chart room. The backup for getting the racetime rested with the judges. There may be a similar system at this Texas track and if so, the answer is human error - in "not paying attention" while on the job.

There is no excuse for human error. If that is the reason, then the TRACK PRESIDENT should be obligated to personally do this task until such time as he can foolproof it. Nothing else on his calendar is more important. If the bozo reads this board, I invite his comments. Until then, LS can only be considered a strictly bush league trck and no bets there can be made with any confidence.
If it is due to equipment failre, that is even worse - it has a history of happening and the big bozo has not fixed it.
Everyone should boycott this dump until they fire the current GM and hire someone competent - this guy is not. He is a loser.

This happened a couple of times at the beginning of the Sam Houston meet. Must be a Texas thing, just like the last minute jockey changes.
