Todays date (2/26/09) look at the WPS pools in the first race. The longest shot at 80/1 had over $300 more to show then any horse in the race and nearly half the pool. Wish I would have seen this before I was looking at results. Money to be made in the show end that race.

It's the oldest trick in the book, somebody is creating overlays on the true contenders by betting on the hopeless long shot, when the long shot runs out the show payoff on the odds on horse are inflated thus guarantying a profit. they bet the odds on favorite to show probably offshore or w/ a bookmaker where the money is not commingled into the track pools.
