Some insight into the CDI lawsuit against the horse owners' groups. It's somewhat ironic that the issues being raised by CDI are precisely what their subsidiary TrackNet Media is practicing in its negotiations with ADW and simulcast groups.

It always seemed to me that CDI and MEC joining forces to form TrackNet was the anti-trust deal. I guess in this shrinking industry you can't do anything without it being called anti-trust.

So if HANA calls for a betting boycott by it's members, is that an anti-trust suit waiting to happen?

The boycott would be a voluntary action on the part of individual members. It's an exercise of freedom of choice guaranteed by our constitution.
