On Wednesday, I had no prime or soft selections. Among my contenders only selections, my 1st race $12 exacta key box returned $150.00, my 8th race $6 saver exacta returned $28.20 and my 9th race $12 trifecta wager retuned $28.60. So it goes...
Thursdays selections:
1st Contenders Only Exacta Box 3/6,11 and Trifectas 3/1,7,10,12/6,11
2nd A soft wager, I Love to Say Yes (4). Fontana tried to steal last one at $12.40-1 when he moved this old mare way up in class (from a par 68 to a par 81) where she rushed to the lead and came up empty. With his cover now blown, he let her go 4F in 48 1/5 (three clicks above par for 4F bullets) four days ago. She comes back fast and drops down for the win. Fontana has a high win % at odds less than 5-2. Win (4), Exacta Box 4/3,7 and Trifectas 4/3,5,7/All
3rd Contenders Only - Roundtripper (4). Shortens up today after showing good early speed in last three. An honest to goodness horse for the course at Tampa. Will wake up today and at a nice overlay. Roundtripper (4) across-the-board. Exacta Key Box 4/3,6 and Trifectas 3,4/6,10,11/3,4
4th Contenders Only Exacta Box 4,6,9 and Trifectas 4,6,9/2,8/4,6,9
5th A soft wager, Heat of the Night (7). A very reliable sort, ITM 8 of last 11. Had big final fraction of 11.34 in last at GP. 9F no problem. Larry Rivelli was 2-3 with Turf starters in last two seasons at Tampa. RoHo adds value. Win (7) and Exacta Key Box 7/8,9,14
6th Contenders Only Exacta Box 4,8 and Trifectas 6/4,8/All
7th Contenders Only Exacta Box 6,7,11 and Trifectas 6,7,11/2,8,9/6,7,11
8th Contenders Only Exacta Box 1,12 and Trifectas 1,12/2,3,4/2,3,4
9th Contenders Only Taylors Irish (6) was jostled at the break and forced to race laterally briefly, but recovered and finished well in debut. Centeno takes another bite at the apple. Exacta Box 1,6,7 and Trifectas 1,6,7/3,4,9/1,6,7
10th Contenders Only Exacta Box 4,5/6,8 and Trifectas 4,5/4,5/2,6,8
