Very impressive. If that promo doesn't raise awareness of HANA, nothing will. Marketing is everything. Whose idea was it to do a countdown?

The announcer says "Horseplayers of North America" just like the NOVA radio announcer says "The Randi Rhodes Show." Is it the same guy?

The countdown was Dean's idea as pretty much are all the other creative, ingenius ideas, whereas all the boring, anal retentive, structured ideas/concepts seem to be my ball of wax. :D

I was in the war room about three years ago. Keilan was in there and he knows what he is doing. I liked some horse, and he liked a bomb type. So I boxed them for $3. It hit and I made like $250.

The story would get really good if I said I turned that $250 into $10,000, then parlayed that into shorting GE stock, and used my many millions of proceeds to feed a village in Africa.

However, I just ended up losing it in the following few races.

That's my war room story.

I hope this means racing is getting the message; shortly after one of them were talking about a handicapping tourney!

Chick,

You mean HANA has a channel? On youtube?

Wow, you played more than Combat on your Atari as a kid, like someone I know.

I do this stuff in the exact same way as on my old Nintendo...I just keep hitting buttons till something good seems to happen.

Hey, come to think of it's that's also my Pick 6 strategy in a nutshell.

Bombsawaybob subscribed to the youtube channel. He is what we call an early adopter.

But I clicked on Bombsaway's Myspace page. It is better than our page. He is linked to all these super hotties. All the HANA page has is a video of a Keeneland promo and a short video of Chickenhead at the track in his HANA boxers.

Speaking of MySpace Pages. I did one and had a HAHA thingee on it--It would just give the HANA link--Then it gave the countdown--Then it disappeared---Now I ain't no Bob------

I have no Idea how to link these things up---And when I do I lose them---Kinda like all my girl friends when I was in HS.

oh well--

..and ALL those 'super hotties' on my "Top Friends" list are either in racing, or fans of racing..(except Lady Leanne, but Roger insists she stay in my top 40)

Keeneland is the number one track according to HANA. That's like saying that the best horse won the KY Derby, but it was a weak crop. On the one hand, they did win. On the other hand, they didn't beat much.

What can Keeneland and other tracks do to be even more horseplayer friendly?

I've noticed Keeneland and other tracks still withhold their signals from some ADWs. So perhaps that is one area for improvement.

In general, takeouts still seem high. I know Keeneland tried to lower them in the past, but the middle Atlantic tracks complained.

If handle is going to increase in this country, then players are going to have to see the value in betting.

Racetracks have to compete against too many alternative forms of gambling.

Any thoughts on what Keeneland or other tracks can do to be more player friendly and also to increase handle?
