why did our president need to fly out to colorado today to sign this disgracefull bill. and then he flew his vp on a separate jet for the ceremony.

it must have cost the taxpayers over 1 million for this junkett.

they are making a joke out of us.

GWB flew home to Texas 77 times, Lamboguy. Did that bother you too?

they all waste your money, bush was no exception. i just wonder why they had to fly 2 planes to colorado to sign that dumb bill. they could have done it in the white house, or the white house garden to save us some money when we have plenty of people behind in their payments to the lenders out there

Strategically you keep the Prez and Veep separate when traveling etc---When we lost 6 of our Brave Fire Fighters...Both Prez Clinton and Al Tree came to Worcester... It was a Nightmare protection wise---Our Auditorium where the Mass was held was large..Not that--Worcester Was not used to this Kinda stuff etc----Both Tree and the Prez arrived at different times...We had Phony caravans Etc------ everything was a show everything was Pomp---This guy Clinton was good tho---the locals loved him-----We---I was Paid detailed---hated it--------He would go anywhere---Talk to anyone-----Eat at every place that looked good--------Flirt with every good lookin waitress-----

Obama right now?is in the get outta Washington mode------See---I am different------Kinda like Clark Kent and Superman-----They Looked exactly alike minus the glasses---The change----Hey---I'm Outta Washington----The Public--------Same reaction----WOW:eek:

He's so different!! its 2 steps below smoke and mirrors----Boy we are a bright country---Both parties---wow..

Lamboguy no disrespect to you sir--I mean that..

Bud---

I just loathe phony politics and it upsets me all those years as a cop I played in the Lions Jaws and 20 years later got bit---And see the show for the $H1T that it is....

Its a reflection of the disappointment in me----Trust me---I helped a lot of Politicians Both republicrat And Dem---That in the long run hurt a lot of people......:faint:

Given the global terror situation, and just plain ole national security, the U.S. Goverment probably doesn't fly the President and Vice President together anymore. Don't know how often they need to keep them apart when not flying anymore. They kept GWB & Chaney separate before hand, and are likely continuing the practice with Obama and Biden, likely both sets of leaders are doing this under the advice from Intelligence and/or the Military.

I don't have a problem with two planes. The only thing worse than O'Biden becoming prez is Pelosi becoming prez................ :bang:

Could be. Or it could be that his handlers have no interest in having him in DC. He is now, and will always be, a campaigner. It's all he knows. When he inserts himself in the process, like nominating folks, it goes straight to hell at mach speed. His job is to sell this bag of crap with a firm chin or tears if necessary.
