You can if you like.......... I usually play my top pick over the next 4 depending on the odds. I put up my top 5 picks for those that might want to play that way. Some people like to box the top 3 in exactas or top 4 in trifectas.

If you had played top choice over next 4, you hit 3 exactas for $107.10 cost $72 made a profit. 3 trifectas for $303.8, cost $216, made a profit.
If you boxed the top 3 in exactas, you hit 4 for $142.90, cost $108, made a profit.
If you boxed the top 4 in trifectas, you hit 4 for $618.80, cost $432, made a profit.

The idea is so if anyone wants to use the picks as a guide, they can in many ways.
