The FoxNews lead mania over the awful distortion of the stimulus bill's language regarding the position and role of National Coordinator of Health Information Technology is truly something to be amazed at:

I suppose when the bought and paid for by the big pharma and bio med industries' Hudson Institute's oft-disgraced Betsy McCaughey has something to say, someone might listen.

It is stunningly amazing that McCaughey, best known for her vociferous objection to the Clinton health initiatives in the early 90's, has any job at all, much less one that grabs the ear of the Main Stream Media mainstay, Fox.

You all remember her article against the Clinton plan, I am sure. It was titled, No Exit, and was published in The New Republic.

Only thing is, The New Republic wound up apologizing for and recanting her article.

Betsy McCaughey was once Lt Governor of New York. Pataki dumped her for his re-election campaign, so she became a Democrat. Then she quit the Dem nomination race when her wealthy husband stopped funding her campaign. Democrat nomination. So, she joined the Liberterian Party. She got 1% of the vote.

In addition to Fox, Bloomberg and CNN gave McCaughey's latest some credence.

How the Main Stream Media gets fooled by people like this is something to be truly in awe of.

Seems to be a fair and balanced bunch of people here!
I think Beck is correct, but we may never know - since no one will have read the bill before voting on it.
