Prime Wager Results.10-28(36%) -$13.20(10-3-6) (68% ITM)
Soft Wager Results.....13-40(33%) -$4.60 (13-8-2) (58% ITM)

On Saturday, my soft wager, Dawn Raider was not ready after the layoff and was out of the money. Among my contenders only selections, my 4th race $32 trifecta wager returned $30 (it happens) and my 8th race $8 exacta key box returned $18.60. So it goes...

On Sunday, I've got one prime and five soft selections and that means I can do some serious gambling for a change.

Sunday's selections:

1st – A soft wager, Numero Uno Lady (4). Repeat of last trounces these, above par figs in 4 of 5 starts. Bennett/Mata team are 8-13 ITM this season. Banker’s Mistress (9) chases and then fades. Win (4) and Trifectas 4/3,5,7/3,5,7 and DD 4/10

2nd – A soft wager, Roundtripper (10) is rounding into form now, posts par figs when in condition and is a horse for the course with 18-25 ITM at Tam lifetime. Win (10), Exacta Key Box 10/9,12 and DD 10/9 and Saver Trifectas 9,12/2,3,4,6/9,10,12

3rd – A soft wager, Quaking Asp (9) was above par two back in a sprint and has established that he can go long. Was up close at finish in only Sprint-to-Route attempt. Proctor wins 43% with Non-shipping L1-3 + Distance Change angle and engages his go to rider Ronnie Allen Jr. Win (9).

4th – Contenders Only – Rare Ransom (9) raced above par in all three starts at Tampa and gained valuable racing experience in the process. Returns to 6F today where the lone sprinter with speed Goldzar (2) could run away with it. Exacta Key Box 9/2,10 Saver Exactas 6,7,8/9

5th – Contenders Only – Exacta Box 2,4 and Trifectas 2,4/1,6,7,8/2,4

6th – A prime wager, Avanti Avanti (5) comes out of key race where he finished ahead of Riversrunrylee and Pyrite Personal both of whom came back to win their next starts in ALW company. Two others in that key race, Fagedaboutit Sal and Dinner In Odem were also ITM next time out. Avanti Avanti put up a 99 in that race according to my figs and appears to be a couple of lengths better than these. Win (5).

7th – A soft wager, Arranger (2) hesitated at the break, made a big move on the turn and finished well but too late, in a race that went 19 above par in debut. Switch to RoHo seals it for me. She won 6 of 22 starts with Ritchey’s charges last season. Win (2)

8th – A soft wager, Dressed to Win (7). Went in 12 seconds/panel at 8F at Sar in the fall with a final fraction of 11.63. If she’s ready, she wins for Rice/Centeno. Win (7).

9th – Contenders Only – Great Squawk (6) takes a negative drop. Why enter for a tag after winning three in a row and having only one try in ALWN3X?. Badly beaten favorite in last and moves to McCarthy barn that was 2-95 with shippers last three seasons. Exacta Key Box 10/3,8,9 and DD 10/7

10th – Contenders Only – Exacta Box 6,7 and Trifectas 6,7/1,2,3,5,11/6,7

Good luck and good racing!

Nice call in the 6th, but I have a question about your key race theory.
I show Riversrunrylee as winning its 2nd race (1/31 7th) after the race Avanti Avanti was in (1/4 5th). Rivers had a race in between (1/16 9th) where it finished 6th.
Do you have a limitation in the # of subsequent races before a race is declared a "key"?
Thanks.
