Tucsonans watching the Super Bowl got more action than they bargained for when a short clip from an adult movie channel interrupted Comcast’s feed with full male nudity during the final moments of the game.
Officials at Comcast said about 30 seconds from Club Jenna, an adult cable television channel, were shown on the local Super Bowl telecast. The company was still working Sunday night to figure out how it happened. …
The Star newsroom was flooded with calls from irate viewers who said that the porn cut into the game with less than three minutes left to play, just after Arizona Cardinals player Larry Fitzgerald scored on a touchdown pass from Kurt Warner to put the team in the lead.
Callers said that the clip showed a woman unzipping a man’s pants, followed by a graphic act between the two.

   Beats the hell out of Janet Jackson!

Apparently the ads and pass defense weren't the only things to suck.

Well everybody got it - in the sense that one of the teams playing in the game had finished 9-7 during the regular season, while an 11-5 team (New England) didn't even make the playoffs.

That's pretty X-rated to me!

New England knew what they had to do and they couldn't do it. Arizona was not a wildcard team who backed their way in. They were a division winner, albeit an awful division. And by the time the Super Bowl came around, they were a 12-7 team who came within a minute of winning the Super Bowl.

The real Super Bowl was played 2 weeks before when Baltimore and Pittsburgh played.

Of course I'm biased but I think that's a valid assessment.

I believe any unbiased/realistic Steelers fan would second that opinion.

I don't think so. I doubt the Ravens could have scored enough points to beat the Cardinals. They certainly would have needed a defensive score, and maybe one on special teams. They could have won, but a win over the Cardinals was certainly no sure thing.

To put it another way, Arizona gave the Steelers a better game than the Ravens did.

The Ravens had the ball with 4-5 minutes to go and needed a FG to take the lead- some idiot committed a pers foul out of bounds and instead of having the ball at their own 40 were pushed back to the 15 or so which led to an interception return for a TD by Troy Pileahairgoo. Game over - Pittsburgh had their hands full and they knew it. The better team won that day.

Besides, what the heck do you know? you"re in Oklahoma !!
