Coming soon to Gulfstream,recent IEAH 3YO purchase, Patena by Seeking The Gold out of the stakes winner Handpainted whose dam was a full sister to Touch Of Gold.This horse is being pointed to the first Saturday in May,must improve quickly.Dutrow will brush his teeth,worm him,buy him new shoes,and have him primed.How fast will he run.

I did know Arson Squad was crap in the Donn today. Maximus should have been 8-5, but with Dutrow's angle in there, Arson Squad was bet down which booted Maximus' price nicely to 3-1.

That's two horses exiting the Cigar Mile who ran like crap as chalk in Gulfstream stakes races. Arson Squad and Brisbon. That has turned into a negative race.

Five career starts at five different distances. Competing over three types
of running surfaces. Has won a stakes race at 1 1/16 miles.

There are other "hopefuls" that seem they would need to improve quickly just to catch up to Patena? :)

Patena needs Graded Stakes earnings and Dutrow has him at Gulfstream for this purpose.He is bred to go long,but must get faster.He is in the right hands to achieve both goals.
