LONGSHOT: Race 7, #5 RAPATAPTAP (20-1). Not only do I love the name of this horse, I also think he has a great chance for a major form reversal in this spot. I'm forgiving him for his last two starts because he was coming off a long layoff two back and ran on the mud for the first time last out. He has back class and good early speed when ready on a fast track. He also broke his maiden on this oval. Call me crazy, but I give him a shot a BIG odds.
LONGSHOT: Race 9, #1 ONENINTYTWOSQUARED (12-1). This filly will be making her third start off a layoff and ran decent in her comeback in November while facing tougher in an open-bred event. Last out she was closing fast in the lane but ran out of real estate. Tonight she'll need to be a bit closer, but she gets the short way home on the rail. With a good ride she may be in the hunt. BANG!
