From a marketing standpoint and taking classes on pricing the post directed to Marc at DRF got me thinking. What do people on the board think a fair price is for different handicapping products.
The Sheets and Thorograph are $25-$30 a day for the first track.
You'd have to bet at least $600 a day with a 5% ROI to break-even yet they still sell enough to make a good profit.
Monthly past performance services range from $99-$129 a month.
Selection services $6-$25 a day.
If the service and product are good what do you think a fair price is for the different categories (I'm not including programs)
Also, do people prefer a monthly rate with multiple tracks or is it better to offer a daily rate per track or both.
If I get enough information I may use for a project in class.
Thanks for any responses.
