On Saturday, my prime wager in the 4th, Regwell won by three and paid $4.20. Also in the 4th, my $8 trifecta wager returned $158.20. My prime wager in the 7th, American Border won and paid $4.00. My prime wager in the 9th, Otis Ridge finished third. Among my contenders only selections, my 3rd race $14 trifecta double key returned $48.40. So it goes...

2nd - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 1,5 and Trifectas 1,5/2,3/1,5
3rd - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 1,2 and Trifectas 1,2/5,7,8/1,2
4th - Contenders Only - Lord Louis (10). No stranger to marathon distances (or hurdles for that matter), Lord Louis goes 9F with Centeno in the irons for Peter Walder, who had a dynamite year in 2008. The old timer had only three starts last year and was at or close to par in all. Exacta Key Box 10/5,6,7 and Trifectas 10/2,9/5,6,7
5th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 2,10 and Trifectas 2,10/5,6,7,8/2,10
6th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 4/2,3,10 and Trifectas 4/6,9/2,3,10
7th - Contenders Only - Whip the Groom (4). Has taken huge drops, first from a par 78 to a par 72 in last and today from a par 72 to a par 66, with figs good enough to compete with these. Behrens drops bombs on a pretty regular basis. Only El Supremo (9) who posted a 73 in smashing victory in last, keeps the Groom from being a prime wager. Whip the Groom across-the-board, Saver Exacta 4,9 and Trifectas 4,9/3,6,11/3,4,6,9,11
8th - Contenders Only - Trifectas 1/2/All and Saver Exacta 2/1
9th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 2,6 and Trifecta Box 1,2,6,9
