Prime Wager Results.7-23(30%) -$15.20 (7-3-4) (61% ITM)
Soft Wager Results....9-31(29%) -$12.60 (9-8-0) (55% ITM)
On Wednesday, I had no prime or soft selections. Among my contenders only selections, my 7th race $8 trifecta wager returned $100.00. My 8th race $12 exacta key box returned $45.40 and my 10th race $12 exacta box returned $17.00. So it goes...
Thursday's selections:
1st - Contenders Only - Dixie Pipe (5). My figs have been somewhat higher than DRF's all season with this major exception. Dixie Pipe, their last two 56, 64, my last two 47, 55. I'm banking on mine. Today's race is a par 70. Poundcake (9) looks OK but Griffith has used Montalvo whenever he was trying this year (Griffith/Montalvo team is 5-10 ITM). Exacta Box 1,4,8 and Trifectas 1,4,8/5,9/1,4,8.
2nd - Contenders Only - Smart Rose (2) was above par in last and Gerry Bennett is 35% Win and 70% ITM rightback. Forbid the Queen (5) sub-par figs but ITM half the time at TAM. Smock/Cotto team is 2-2 ITM. Fresh Call (8) may have finally found the right spot. Exacta Box 2,5,8 and Trifectas 2,5,8/6/2,5,8
3rd - Contenders Only - Exacta 8/1 and Trifectas 8/5,6,9/1
4th - A soft wager, Samy Good Luck (2) was beaten by Strike Impact (winner of 6) and Chimchar and Syncopation (two ALW types) and finished with an above par 73 in last, while beaten by eight. Today's par is 72. Ramos will press the button if the 8-1 ML holds up. Win, Exacta Key 2/8,9 and Trifectas 2/4,6,10/8,9
5th - A soft wager, Forest Grinder (4). Ness wins 50% Route to Sprint and 36% Turf to Dirt. Ness/Allen team has been 11-15 ITM. Best figs, hands down. Win, Exacta Key 4/3,8 and Trifectas 4,9/3,4,8,9/3,8
6th - A soft wager, Wild Turk (5). Always close at the middle distances. Gerry Bennett wins 33% with the Turf to Dirt angle and 24% with the fastback. You learn to do by doing. Wild Turk is ready. Win, Exacta Key 5/2,3 and Trifectas 5/All/2,3
7th - Contenders Only - Romagnola (6). Ziadie is 100% ITM with L1-3 + S + Dropdown and 75% ITM Route to Sprint. Turf to Dirt is no problem. The numbers strongly indiacte that Romagnola gets a piece. (Scratched on the 17th for softer spot from PP11). Celtic Kettle (2) switch to HVG brightens outlook. Gaston A. (3) always respectable and trying 13 days ago at GP, gets Teator. Exacta Key Box 6/2,3 and Trifectas 6/7,9,10/2,3
