Pray Obama fails

Many American Christians believe, as an article of faith, that we are to pray for the success of our leaders.

It has become a sort of conventional wisdom among soft-minded believers. The biblical proof-text for this misguided way of thinking is Romans 13:1-4:

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

There are always going to be those that want something for nothing. That is what communism is all about. But it never seems to work because comrad tsar seems to have more than the others and so do the ones in charge.

The other theory that has been around awhile is that if you allow capitalism to run long enough it will self destruct because the table does not stay level.

Considering all the "sleeper cells" in the USA I would venture to guess that if America fails it will be our own fault because we have become too soft.

I have no side, I have values. The conservative agenda did not fail, the people pretending to be conservatives sold out! Bush was not a conservative, but I have to give him credit for the stuff he got right. Not at near what I expected from him, but far more than we got from Clinton or will get from Obama.

I have called out the republicans for being traitors and sell out. I have abandoned most republicans. I am contributing to the movement to go against Arlan Specter in the next primary, as all true conservative should be doing - attack and destroy the three stooges who sided with libs in the sell out.
