YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING.
you gave out 6 horses, none of which were any higher than 5-2. and none of those won. your 2 winners were 3-5 and 4-5. you had a 7-5 shot run 4th and one of your 5-2 shots ran 6th. LONG TERM VALUE PLAYS!!! your roi figures mean that you're basically getting even money on your bets. so if you want to win $100 a race you bettwer be prepared to bet $100. Have fun, you loser. THE FUNNIEST PART OF THIS IS THAT YOU'RE BRAGGING ABOUT IT  Any idiot can give out the faves or second choices. betting to place and show??? you're killing me

this man has a specific objective with his approach to gambling and that's why he titles it "LONG TERM". it may not be your cup of tea, but he puts in alot of effort. who the hell are you to come in with such a nasty post ? no one is twisting your arm to follow him !!!

Ok, so how much are you betting? how much are you winning?

Sonnyp, you're jumping in on something you don't know about. I've criticized his strategy before and what he does is question my integrity and assail my character. IMO this guy is giving out bad advice. I'm wondering if ruserious is following formulas strategy. Too bad for him. Come on, 6 picks all between 3-5 and 5-2 and place betting??!! You can't be serious.

I may bet a horse or two when I go to the casinos.I save my black chips for the craps table.
if I played the horses to the extent I bet craps...I would have been broke years ago. :)

it's a lot easier to get lucky for a longer period of time when the take is only 1.4%

SO WHY ARE YOU HERE POSTING PICKS THAT YOU DON'T BACK UP WITH YOUR OWN MONEY?? YOU ARE SUCH A FRAUD. YOU'RE ADMITTING THAT YOU'D BE BROKE IF YOU BET THE HORSES. SO GET OUT OF HERE AND STOP GIVING BAD ADVICE!!

SONNYP ARE YOU LISTENING?

I'm on the board because I choose to be.

if i calculated the %time I spend calculating horse racing data / % time producing real income, it would be a factor >1.
I'm a fraud admitting I'd go broke if I bet horses?
I wish you were right!! :)

I give a bit better advice than the final odds on tote board .

I going to stick this little bit of information here.

the figure I have been using to determine when to play the favorite , when set at >=.75, returns a .98 win pool roi across all races where the book % is <=1.25 in over 243 jan 2009 races. the average odds are 1.40-1

when the figure is set at <=.5, the win pool roi drops down to .77 at average odds of 2.04.

all races mean just that.. all classes, distances, surfaces, etc.

in over 1200 data base races. the fav returned a win pool roi of .90
