Prime Wager Results.7-22(32%) -$13.20 (7-3-4) (64% ITM)
Soft Wager Results....9-28(32%) -$6.60 (9-8-0) (61% ITM)
On Saturday, my soft wager in the 8th, General Quarters was no match for Musket Man and had to settle for 2nd, but my $8 saver exacta box in that race returned $11.80. My soft wager in the 11th, Sentimental Concert had a rough trip, checking for racing room twice on the turn and settling for second. Among my contenders only selections, my 1st race $8 exacta key box returned $22.20, my 6th race $4 exacta box returned $29.60, my 9th race $12 exacta box returned $19.40 and my $24 tri box returned $44.00. So it goes...
Sunday's Selections:
1st - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 4/3,5 and Trifectas 4/7,8,9/3,5
2nd - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 4,7,8 and Trifectas 3,4/3,4,7,8/7,8
3rd - Contenders Only - Roboponi (1). Above par fig at the route 18 days ago. Slomkowski is 44% with the Route to Sprint angle at TAM and 25% rightback. Centeno jumps for General Jake (4) which leaves me scratching my head. Both have nice clean records. Storm Thief (7). Big effort in last. Allen is 38% with the L1-3 + S + Dropdown. Exacta Box 1,4,7 and Trifectas 1,4,7/2,3/1,4,7
4th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 7/1,11
5th - Contenders Only - Romagnola (11). Ziadie is 100% ITM with L1-3 + S + Dropdown and 75% ITM Route to Sprint. The numbers strongly indiacte that Romagnola gets a piece. The 4 & 7 haven't show us their best yet this season. The 3 will trying to make it two in a row and has been racing well, albeit with subpar figs. Exacta Key Box 11/3,4,7
6th - Contenders Only - Exacta Box 6,8 and Trifectas 6,8/5,7,10/6,8
7th - Contenders Only - Exacta Key Box 9/1,2,3,4
8th - A soft wager, Breeze Keeper (8). Dale Bennett claimed BK from Wayne Catalano in November and has been preparing him for a big season at Tampa for the past three months. Work on Dec. 7 looks like fastest of the season at 4 panels. Bennett is 4-9 with L1-3 + S + UC and has a respectable 22% 1st Off Claim win stat (and 48% ITM). Win and Saver Exacta 5/8 and Saver Tri 1,2,3,4/8/5
9th - Contenders Only - Straight Trifecta 4/2/7 and Saver Exacta Key Box 4/2,7
10th - A prime wager, Juicy Loots (1). Very big above par effort on Dec. 19th, shortens up and dropsdown for Allen who has the majority of his wins on the drop. A bullet work on Jan. 6th. Ground saving trip adds value. Win and Exacta 1,9 and Trifecta 1/9/6.
