Yeah...they protect civil liberties alright -- the liberties of the lowest lifeforms on earth, criminals, terrorists, etc. -- and always at the expense of the civil liberties of their innocent victims. But then...what would we expect of gutter rats?

I wasnt disagreeing with what you said at all, your statement was just opposite of the example i gave in my original post. My original comparison was that the ACLU and Jesse Jackson are similar because they will stand behind anyone, even obviously guilty thugs.
