Ralph,
This story caught my attention because it happened in Ohio - near Dayton.

What struck me as odd is that the stolen car was unlocked, with the keys inside and the owner's wallet was inside.
Is that a common thing to do? I don't even leave my car unlocked when I run into the doughnut shop for coffee and the car is only 20 feet away. It's just a habit.
Had the owner's taken a simple precaution this tradgedy would not have happened to them.
