ok i guess it just does not pay..these are my selections from the site along with the pick 6 many pick 3s 4 s and exactas tris were included.... you guys just keep making stupid remarks.. and fyi some people do make bets that big on carryover days..im thrilled that our selections included the pick 6.. twice in one week..

congradulations on hitting the pick6. i love it when someone wins. i just question playing that bet in new york on a consistand basis. the track take is 25% and not that i do real great but my rebate on NYRA is only 8 1/2% for tricks. so you have to overcome a 16% deficit. in order to do that you have to be able to eliminate 50% of the money in the pool 85% of the time in order to come out ahead of the bet. i think that is real tough to do.

Hooves,

If I can make a suggestion..Perhaps you should show the Pick 6 ticket you suggest to play on your report. Are we to assume you just play four horses in each race? That's a big ticket and not cost effective.

I think that is why you are getting the reaction you are getting. I would never proclaim I hit a Pick 6 unless I laid out a Pick 6 ticket specifically. Just because you have the winners listed in your top four does not constitute hitting a Pick 6.

For instance, I might have the winner in my top three contenders in each race, but my Pick 6 ticket might have suggested a couple of singles and going deeper in other legs. I would not turn around and say I hit the Pick 6 because I had all the winners listed.

If you want to be taken seriously, you might also want to tone down your responses, and grow some thicker skin.

Take it from someone that knows, horseplayers are way too smart to have smoke blown up thier asses. (I'm not saying you have, I'm suggesting you don't).

i have thick skin.. the fact that these selections are what they are speaks for itself..my players have had a had a great run .. i dont post tix they should play most of the time..and i know that horseplayers on this board are a very smart bunch. its a guide as ive said multiple times.the pick 6 was available to those who subscribed..twice in one week along with many other exotics.. in not here to get kudos..my selections and site have been challenged for its content and validity. im here so that people who may need help in this area can get a idea of what we have to offer.. . ill not give out anymore winners or horses to look at..if i had posted a winning ticket right now id have to hear all the readboard bs.. later and good luck

nice picking.

but really people that are betting $4000+ on a pick 6 ticket dont need someone elses picks and newbie throwing down $4000+ on someone elses ticket aint gonna happen. thats just what i think.

Well.

This is unfortunate.

Here's a couple of small suggestions to ponder if one's going to troll.

There are lots of positive threads, here, at Pace Advantage, perhaps in your next post (I believe it would only be your 3rd) consider offering something of interest in one of them.

Meanwhile, in your down time, pull out a dictionary and learn how to spell the term, Belle.

All,
I had the pleasure of meeting Grits at Keenland a couple of years ago. In my humble opinion, she is a very good handicapper, keeps copious notes regarding her approach and has a notepad with daily wagers. She was up to date and aware of new materials and books that were published.
With the determination and GRIT that she approached the difficult chore of being a successful handicapper, indicated to me that she would respect the handicapper that showed success but a SHILL NEVER! One of her traits that I remember well was her willingness to work hard and the ability to stand tall for what she believed!

Well Hooves, with all due respect, there are many people here that can hand you 4-horses per race and hit a pick-6 on a steady basis......That doesn't take away from your ability to find contenders, but that is the point, they are just the contenders..... I for one would never pay kash for 4-top picks... I would like to see more from you.... like sticking your neck out a bit more......

For years I would grin at all the hucksters, that were lined up at the entrances to the tracks, in their little booths, with lots n' lots of circles pointing to the previous day's winners from their top 4 picks and the 1 sleeper....and not many of their top horses were always circled, even I can do that...

C'mon Hooves show us more, I believe that you are capable,,..,,

Max, for me, standing is beneficial and needed. And thank you for your post.

If I am anything, I am loyal to a fault. Something I have been told. And something that too, I've caught some serious flack on--but to that I say, "so what."

When someone shows, time and again, consistently, their knowledge, their skill, their contributions, I don't care what the vocation, the talent they have--nothing will stop me from remaining in their corner. Sometimes, stepping forward.

I believe in people. Especially when they impress me, and not always in the way of kindness, which of course, can be an extraordinary thing, but too, by their wealth of knowledge and their sharing of it. I don't require knowing them, or being acknowledged by them.

If I support them, or raise them up, in even a small way, or stand in the background with a smile, I've done far more for me--internally, than I have for them--outwardly.

I do, though, have little patience with trolls. Its a weakness; one I readily admit.

Grits

And anyone, giving it away or selling it, now, that one sounds pretty good comin' from a Southern Belle doesn't it (:D) can list those contenders each day. But within, this range of 4 horses, they, more often than not, range from 2/1 to 8/1, sometimes less.

My point being, when you have someone, and there are others here who can ferret out $40.00 horses with ease because they've used their available resources including replays--and they're going out on a limb--not seldom, mind you, but not hesitating when they've got the guts to back that which they've read and viewed. Those guys are few, and only THEN have you got such an individual as I just mentioned.

LK,for those of you who maintain, "c'mon, show us what you've got". You're being shown. You were shown at Aqueduct last week. And, you've been at this game long enough to know, more than anything--EVEN THE BEST CAN'T MAKE IT HAPPEN, not daily, or often enough for most.

I'm going back to my corner now. I've said enough about folks who do well at this business of handicapping.

Grits, perhaps you may have mis-interpreted the point I was trying to make...Which is, obviously most of us can't afford to make 4-horse/everyrace pick 6's....So, trying to take credit for a pick-6 under that rule, is not quite fair advertising, I think.....So, which horses to play, I mean you have to narrow it down somehow to make it doable, financially that is.....If all of her horses were not the top picks, then what ?

She had 3-winners on top, very nice, but the rest were mostly 3d choices, so not meaning any disrespect, but if Hooves had it, most of us didn't.........

Most of us can get 3-winners on top of a pick 6 ticket, and quite easily at that, so why would we pay to go 3 deep in that wager, when we can do that easily on our own.......

You see she does need to show more....that is, if she is offering a product that can do better than I or we, in the Pick-6's, then she must show it........ she is trying to take credit for having that pick-6, at that investment amount...I mean, I could never afford, on someone else's say so, to invest $700 or $2100 on $1 pick-six ticket.....

Still, I have no doubts about her ability to give you a winner on top, or by odds value, on a race by race basis......But she did the pick-6 thing and said that we could've had it.....Me, I couldn't.......

Hey, I just like to talk.....no harm meant from here, at all....just a point....

best,

Grits

LK, you're sorely in need of correction on one point. Hooves is a HE. Hooves is not a SHE. He's been doing this for 20 years, I've never met the man, but I know that he's male.

Too many, I believe, are missing my own points, which at this stage, I'm pretty tired of trying to convey, and they're not ALL about hitting the Pic 6, which seems to be what everyone is concerned with.

Throughout each day, exactas, doubles, Pic 3s and Pic 4s and the $40+ winners given out in the middle of them keep folks in this game far longer than the career and life changing, elusive Pic 6. (This applies unless you're a member of a syndicate, or your last name is Crist.)

I'm done. I'm weary. This has required too much typing. Too many pixels

Especially when no one is reading.

Uh-Oh Grits, you are the she, so solly......

Ok Grits, I was just making a little fun noise anyway...

Now please take a siesta, and you will regain all of your powers......

Besides, I don't need anybody's selections, I lose the pick-6 on my own merit.....perhaps because I can't go 3 or 4 deep, as advertised.......

See, I'm just teasin' again.....Rerax

Still, Hooves posted, "pick6 hit with hoovesplay & pick 6 pays $24, 133.oo.....right ? that is why we are all concerned about the pick 6, as there was no evidence of exactas, tri's or any other ticket hits......

See, now take a laugh......:jump:

Grits, you are a good sport, for a girl......:jump:

The raceytrack crowd that I used to hang with were a bit tough on each other, nothing was sacred.....But, we kept each other honest, and had a lot of goofy-laughs thru the years.....Most of them are gone or lost in space somewhere, I miss those days....That is why I love pokin' fun at times, that is where I came from.....

And Hooves, if you are listening, I would sincerely like a taste of what you can really do.....Win and exotic picks and prices that we don't have to look up...How about a week's worth of freebies ?....I believe you've got the goods, I sure would like to see them....touche'.....And, most importantly, I wasn't really trying to demean you in any disrespectful way, I believe I was just making a point about the pick-6, and your sole-emphasis on it....

That crowd that I spoke of above, would surely dare you to put your money where your mouth is.....(just chiding again), and that is me, still.......

You're Old School, like my mentor, whose been at this for 45 years. He too, remembers many like your track crowd, a mix of colorful 'cappin' characters, most of whom have either dispersed to the hinterlands, or assumed to be racing to the windows, still in pursuit of the Big Sky Pic 6 at Heavenly Meadows Race Course, somewhere way, way north of us.

We're here, still hangin'--knowing 'those in charge' wouldn't allow no damn racino in Heaven.
