When creating a profile for a particular race I start with the exact same conditions as currently in the race. If there aren't enough I then expand this out to get more by say adding 1 furlong either side of the distance, if there still aren't enough then add maybe more surfaces etc.... Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on how many races you need to have a reliable sample and what you feel is the most important to expand on?
