For POINT ENCOUNTER, breaking his maiden in his debut wasn't as impressive has his speed figure. The Equibase speed figure that he earned (110) equalled that earned by the winner of the BC Juvenile, Midshipman.

I hate to jump on the hype band wagon but if PE has any stamina he will be worth following on the Triple Crown Trail.

this is the horse gary stevens gave out as one of the top two 2yo's that haven't started yet in socal..... they must have known something being bet down to 6/5 from a 5/1 ml
