I am truly amazed at how many completely stupid people are out there running around. How is it possible for people with no brains to obtain jobs as writers and reporters? Are there no qualifications for these jobs? Remember the movie Night of the Living Dead? The mindless zombies walking around Pennsylvania? Must have been a columnist's convention.

Bill is right about the LA Times. I have been here in S. CAL for about 4 mths now and I stopped reading it after the first two weeks. I am also planning my move back east already.....they are raising the state tax to over 10% in some counties. I think we already pay 8.75 in LA county. I wouldn't have moved here if it wasn't a good move for the wife's career. We can put up with it for a few years and leave.

I saw a quote on another site from Michael Moore (the idiot that ran his mouth on Oscar night).
