Let’s hear it for the writer of that classic…Earle Hagen who recently passed away in May. Every sax player and their mother has covered that tune and Sam’s is one of the best.

Right on Dan! I had 2 old albums by Sam called Blue Mist and More Blue Mist and they were so relaxing I used to put them on to fall asleep at night, especially after being all wound up handicapping the next days card.:)
