Longball - Great day yesterday, lots to be thankful for. Thankful that your my friend and thankful for guys like you who overbet favorites so I can get a nice price on a horse.
Chalky - That's funny. I'm thankful for guys like you who throw money at hopeless runners thereby boosting my payout from $4.00 to $4.40. So, I joked about you picking two scratched horses two weeks ago and that's what happened last week.
Longball - Yeah, no control over that. Anyway the survivor stumbled in 2nd so it wasn't all bad. So we're doing the early double races at Churchill and Fairgrounds today. What have you got.
Chalky - Easy races. In the 1st at FG #5 She Could Be Good (2-1) catches a field she can handle and #3 Sensai Bill (3-1) is the only one with figs in the 2nd. At CD the 1st goes to #4 Eyeinthesky (5-2) and #12 Calabria (4-1) completes the double with the leading rider aboard.
Longball - There's logic in those picks but I'll be my usual contrarian self. #6 Fighter Wing (6-1) wins the 1st at FG. Notice her fast works and that she aired once after posting similar before. The double is completed by #7 Sampson's Sword (8-1) in the 2nd. These are very slow animals but this guy is in new hands and flashed a decent work. I'm looking for #8 Rampillion (12-1) to wake up in the 1st at CD and #9 Dirk's the One (8-1) to win the 2nd. Not much in there and the horse has some speed.
Chalky - OK, that gets us some exacta boxes and let's our buddies here on PaceAdvantage complete the picks. By the way, how come your not thankful for them?
Longball - Because they're thankful that we only do this only once a week.

well neither of these races at Fairgrounds is my favorite type of race but, just to put my 2 cents in.
I like the :3: in the first and the :2: in the second. would box :1::2: in exacta in race 2.
First race would probably take :3: over and below :5::6: in exacta key box.

Taking Stock - have to really like that she is only 2-1-0-1 lifetime on Dirt, and comes off a SOLID dirt race in her last. Betting to win @ 5-2 or greater.

I've been following Ma Rainey. I would guess she eventually settles into being a turf horse. She is more suited to turf or a track like Keeneland, but at least we have a decent sized stretch at Fairgrounds. I will be rooting for Ma Rainey, but the intent for her may be more in line with getting a useful effort.

She Could Be Good - does look tough. It's a little hard to tell if she is a quitter or if she has just been in relatively classy races.
