As the holiday season is soon upon us, many of you will probably get all sorts of emails about sending stuff to the troops. And as has often been the case in recent years, though well meaning, the info is often wrong. Snopes at the link provides a pretty concise list of dos and don'ts and where to go if you want to participate in various programs

This is a great service Al; thanks very much!

If I may be so bold here; please seek out the family of a solider this year and let them know their sacrifices are not taken for granted. You would be amazed the positive impact a thank you card with a modest gift certificate has to a serviceman’s wife and child on your block.
