In today's game, anybody dumb enough to get caught should be banned for life. It isn't like those doing the policing are any good.

I guess the philosophy that the CRB is using is that if Patrick Valenzuela can be given a dozen chances, then everybody else should be given at least half that many.

There's no point in testing for illegal drugs if stiff penalties aren't going to be handed out for using them, especially by a multiple-offender.
