That's a shame. I really liked shooting the breeze with Derby Bill when we ran horses there. He was a large :) fixture on the CO Downs apron (when it wasn't 1000 degrees outside.)

Derby Bill has always been a great guy to talk to about horses and of course our beloved Redskins. Gonna miss him!

thanks for the post, I had no idea derby bill would go, but we ( we being the bettors in the Richmond location ) have thought for a couple weeks they were going to close our location possibly on monday and tuesday's, because the business just isnt there. I am also sad to see derby go, but I am sure he will be around richmond :ThmbUp:

I managed to get there a couple of times (Colonial Downs) for Harness-racing, a very nice facility to watch a hoss race.........:jump: ....I liked it........
