I haven't seen a presidential election poll (maybe I missed it?) so I'm posting one.

It will be interesting to see how closely the PA poll matches the actual voting.

Poll closes Nov 3rd -- hopefully, at midnight. Not sure how this message board poll software works.

Are you asking who we think will win the election, or who we are voting for, presuming each of us can legally vote in the U.S. Election?

I'm asking who do you think will win.

I probably should have asked what probability of winning do you give to each candidate. But that was too much work to set up.

Doing the exact same thing tomorrow once the curtain closes (yup we still have the old fashioned lever machines man. Work just fine!)

Obama wins in a landslide.

I'm voting on three referendums tomorrow.

1. I'm voting for the Mass State Tax to remain in place.

2. I'm voting for the elimination of greyhound racing in Massachusetts.

3. I'm voting for the decriminalization of marijuana.

Then I'm pulling the lever for every single Democrat on the ballot.

Next, I'm getting in my car, driving to New Hampshire where I will do the exact same thing.

I'll be sacrificing a bull, two cows, a chicken and a small family of rabbits when I return to Hahvaad YahD.

2. I'm voting for the elimination of greyhound racing in Massachusetts.

Why?

Suff

Why?

It needs to be put down.

Taking nothing away from Raynham Taunton which is an excellent facility with first class restaurant that serves 1500 dinners every Friday and Saturday night, the game itself needs to die. A winners purse would pay $2500 at the AA level 15 years ago, now it pays $400. Wonderland cut its building in half, with an urban nightclub taking over one side. Stabbings, fights, crimes... its awful.

Wonderland itself is a cesspool. Its hard to explain in a few words on a message board but Wonderland is a very strange place and quite dangerous for normal people.

I bet Greyhounds all my life. Wonderland was the top track in the world. They ran $100,000 races! That was 20 years ago... Dogs shipped in from all over the world. The place was jammed and a great vibe.

People that know the neighborhood know the situation. It was among the worst hit by the Crack and Meth wave. Its a very poor area with 1000's of Vietnamese, Brazilian and eastern European immigrants.

Times change. Its better we move on and eliminate the dogs.

Raynham Taunton is 40 minutes south of the city on the way to Providence, and Fox borough (patriots land). They'll get slots and be OK.

Rayham-Taunton employes 675 workers and brings $500k/yr to the local economy & $5Mil to MA. Wonderland could give a rats ass on the ballot question as they continue to seek partnership with Suffolk Downs in hopes of getting a casino.

I'd be hard pressed to vote on a measure telling 675 workers to find something else to do.

Don't worry about those 675 workers. Suff wants them all to become wards of the Nanny State under BHO. Those would be among the first to benefit from his redistribution income plans. All they would have to in return is sign a pledge that they'll vote Democrat every election every time for every candidate -- no matter who. :D

So you will destroy an whole business just because you don't like it anymore?
I guess the people who do like it don't matter? What about them?

I voted McCain. because I won't vote for anyone who says he'll raise taxes on ANYONE. It always affects EVERYBODY. less investment, lost jobs etc. Obama started with raising taxes on 250k then it came down to200k then 150k today 97k. Where will it stop?
I won't vote for anyone who wants to cut defense and do away with the defensive missile shield.
I won't vote for anyone who votes not to give babies who survive an abortion healthcare.
I won't vote for anyone who thinks govt is the answer to everyone's problems.

I dont think we will see a 3 or 4 length victory tomorrow. I think it will either be the 1978 Belmont , or the 1973 Belmont. rbj

don't think so. The battleground states are within margin of error. Obama has spent 600 million and has had the media squarely on his side. Given that, he should be up 20 pts. He isn't. It's a photo finish.

Needless to imagine how some would feel if McCain had spent 600 million , had the media on his side , and was up 11 pts ( ABC's poll ) . Wonder if he would be accused of rigging an election ? naaaa . :D

Lefty voting righty, I can see it. No tax is a good tax in my view, this country was founded with good men upsetting the Kings apple cart. My days of expecting people to be perfect are over, the color of a mans skin will not make me vote for or against someone, I commend Nobama for his fight for the Presidency as I also do for his rival in the race. The last votes have not been cast yet and it is clear the battle ground states are in play and it could go either way.

for those that say you always vote against the incumbent; consider the fact that the dims have the house and senate. Obama and a dim congress would have us by the short ones. Consider that.

you and me both, Big Red. Obama says he will appoint judges that will follow their heart.
MCaine says he will appoint judges who will follow the Constitution.
The choice is clear.
yet we have so many hoodwinked citizens who have been denied proper objective reporting from our mainstream media. The sellout of journalism is equally scary.

Next, I'm getting in my car, driving to New Hampshire where I will do the exact same thing.I don't get it. Are you saying you are going to be voting for Obama twice? Someone alert N.H. voting officials!

And on the other thing, pulling the lever for all Democrats, funny you should say that. That's exactly what I was thinking of doing, only replace Democrats with Republicans.

This country is not getting any closer together, no matter who wins. It's only going to become much, much more divided.

The far-left is so much more divisive than the far-right ever was. And if Obama wins, you all will get to see this played out over the next four years.

Just read Suff and Hcap's post. They are licking their chops just aching for "revenge" over 2000 and 2004. If you take them at their word, they are encouraging a JIHAD of sorts against republicans...make no mistake about the far-left's intentions.

Theirs will be a nightmare many times worse than anything you experienced or thought you experienced with Bush over these last eight years. I predict many will ultimately be look back FONDLY on the Bush years should Obama become president.

Full blown ODS. Seek help. And please don't self destruct tomorrow night. :lol:Full blown baloney is more like it. Read your posts, then read Suff's. You guys are bordering on dangerous with your rhetoric.

And why would you think I require help? I'm perfectly content at the moment. I'm hoping McCain pulls out a victory, but if he doesn't so be it.

Nothing I can do about it after tomorrow....

Besides, seeking help (especially from the government) is more of a liberal mentality anyway...you know that...

Just look at the Dimocrat congress did from day one...nothing but committee after committee, investigation after investigation. Nothing of any substance accomplished, the economy collapsed under their watch, and it was a prep for the return of the misery index.
