Weekend concludes with a nice Sunday card. Early races really don't interest us much, but some superb races later in the day. Hope you enjoyed the extra hour of sleep. I am about to go hit the gym so I'll let you know how the body is dealing with the time change.

Just remember it is not necessary to play every race and your goal should be a positive ROI. There are going to be some races which we have no business playing so that will give you time to do other things: tend to home matters, prepare for the next day's card, and even catch a few NFL game highlights.

RACE 1: PASS. Looks to be a formful race with # 3 NIGHT IN TUNISIA, # 4 STOLIATSIROS (scratched earlier in week to run here) and # 9 BILLY BEAR being the main contenders.

****

RACE 2: PASS. Our main pick is the # 1 SOUTHERN OAKS who more than met the winning running pars in her Saratoga debut. But we highly doubt this one will be an overlay. The ML is 7/2.

***

RACE 3: PASS. Another sub-par race. Keep steady. Some plays are up soon.

***

RACE 4: Two year old fillies trying the turf. Breeding, breeding, breeding is paramount. # 7 SHESA BUD GIRL has Giant Causeway as her sire. A surefire advantage. Although Tagg's debut turf record is not great (7%) , we have caught quite a few with his debuters. # 8 ALWAYS WILLING has early speed and that Elusive Quality blood. Most likely will try to wire this field.

PLAY: Win wagers on # 7 and # 8 at odds of 4/1 and higher.
***

RACE 5: Looking for speed in this 7 F match and having a hard time finding it. Certainly # 5 LAURELDEAN GALE is a class standout but she has never run on dirt. Let's take a flyer with a filly who may appreciate the switch from turf to dirt. # 6 GOO GOOD EYES goes for Kieran McLaughlin and he may have this one cleverly spotted. Has shown some early foot in a couple races.

PLAY: Win wager on # 6 at 5/1 and higher. Exacta box 5 with 6.

****

RACE 6: A motley bunch here and this distance on turf really caters to inside positions. We are going to side with two horses who have great turf jocks aboard. # 4 CORDILLERAN ICE goes for two wins in a row and Mark Hennig is 25% doing this. Alan Garcia is aboard. # 7 HIGHER INCENTIVE is a horse for course play as she has been 3 for 3 in the money on Aqueduct turf. Dominguez is the pilot.

PLAY: Win wagers on # 4 and # 7 at 5/1 and higher.

****

RACE 7: PASS. Small field and the morning line faves should be right there. Faves win 67% of this condition at Aqueduct.

****

RACE 8: See above Race 7 explanation. But we are going to detour here and hope that # 2 HELLO BROADWAY stays out of harm's way. This colt has a world of talent but gets into traffic in every start. Hopefully, today will be steady as he goes as he has a lot of speed and should love this distance.

PLAY: Win wager on # 2 at 4/1 and higher.

***

RACE 9: Two year olds reign supreme on Sunday's card and we finish the week with a nice maiden grass race. # 1 GOZZIP GIRL is sired by Dynaformer who is prodigious with grass winners. The terrible dirt debut should dissuade the public unknowingly and we should get a price. # 2 IT'S MY DAY should be a healthy price with The Mig aboard. Nice grass breeding from Grand Slam. # 8 FLYING SPUR should improve with a second attempt on the weeds.

PLAY: Win wagers on # 1, 2, 8 at 4/1 and better.
