Watch where this horse (#3) is at the top of the stretch and watch what he does, an unbelievable final quarter of 21 1/5. Looks like he was shot out of a cannon !!!

My goodness.I had to watch that about 6-7 times because it seems unreal.That little duck out before he hit stride made me seem skeptical as if digitally enhanced but the rest of the run looked credible.It looked like a KY Derby run was superimposed on a Hawthorne claiming race!!!

Was it??!!!!!

Nope....this was the actual race replay !! You can even go to equibase charts and see the 8th race on the 23rd, he was 9th (last) and won by 2 1/4 lengths.

OK I believe you.Just had to be sure you weren't pullin the wool.

I have never bet Hawthorne but have seen the replays enough to think it might favor closers more than occassionally but that(21 and change??) is just unreal.

Where do you get video feeds BTW??That looked great and I'm looking to setup shop at home.More convenient,cerebral etc.

And hey glad you posted that up,it's not everyday you see it!!

My wife and I were watching it live. We backed it up and watched it several times.

Quite a run......... considering how rank the horse was early.

I had to watch it several times myself . That was impressive . Almost looked as if the final 1/16 was in fast forward .

Yes, it was the horse's debut.

I've seen this once in a blue moon, maybe 20 times in 15 years. The horse seldom does much in the next start. It's just a fluke.
