Poll finds 23% of Texans think Obama is Muslim

....the statewide survey of 550 registered voters has one very surprising finding: 23 percent of Texans are convinced that Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is a Muslim.

Hey Box, maybe Texas is the home of Freudian slip experts.

Not to mention its share of intelligent anti-kool-aid drinking citizens.

550 registered voters in a state as large as Texas is hardly any kind of barometer as to the intelligence or beliefs of it's residents or registered voters. They sure as heck didn't call me, or anyone I know, to vote in that poll.

As concerns GW and his being elected Gov, don't forget Texas is the home of many many very rich people. Those people want their positions protected (enter the Republican party, protector of big business and big money). They control politics here as in many other states. The reason our state voted for GW in the Presidential election was a working class uprising to get him out of our state. ;) His totalitarianism leanings became obvious after his election as Gov, he had no political experience prior to his election so no indication as to what he would do as Gov..

It does appear, however, that big money is still running things here and will probably allow the Republicans to carry the state, despite the shortcomings of the nominee and his running mate. What a shame.

GW was such a bad governor, you (meaning your state) elected him twice.

Big money? You mean the big money Obama is getting after lying about only taking public funding? You mean the huge war chest of illegal contributions laundered from overseas? Or do you mean the $90K Congressman Jefferson has in his freezer in NO? Or the MASS bimbo with the bra full of cash? Which big $$$ do you mean?
