I would love to hear someone explain to me how both OU and USC are rated higher than OSU. And no, not Ohio State.

OSU beat Missouri on the road and narrowly loses a heartbreaker on the road to the #1 team. OU gets beat by the same #1 team on a neutral site in an exciting but not as close game. USC loses to mediocre unranked Oregon St. team and looked pretty bad against another mediocre Arizona team.

The sport is great to watch, but the politics are a joke.

I guess they are putting a lot of weight on the TCU game and OU's reputation. The nice thing is we are going to see who is better between OU and OSU on the field. I predict that we are going to put some of my partners from OU on suicide precautions.

Until they get a playoff, its hard to take the sport seriously. Realistically, all they really need is a 4 team playoff, but I wouldn't mind seeing an 8 team or even 16 team playoff. The NCAA's arguments against it are so pathetic. They start throwing academics into the argument which is a joke because they don't seem to mind the basketball players missing all kinds of classes for the March madness tourney. I think an NCAA football tournament/playoff would be bigger than the basketball version, which is pretty big.

No, they were this week's polls. I couldn't help but notice my Terps had moved back into the top 25.

BTW , I'd just like to add , whoever the idiot was that opened the world series tonight with her butchered version of the national anthem should have been led off the field in handcuffs . How disgraceful . Who needs waterboarding when we have the likes of that trash to drive someone up a wall .
